Dear Sirs,
RE: The Fate of 90,000 doctors.
I refer to the article written on IBTL herehttp://www.ibtl.in/column/1369/90000-doctors-calling-wake-up-mr-health-minister . I have appended the email written to yourselves on the 12th April 2013. It remains unanswered.
I would be grateful if you would kindly comment on the following
1. What are your plans to resolve the issues below as well as the predicament affecting 90,000 doctors?
2. Is it your contention that each time there is a court hearing affecting medical training, junior doctor’s careers should be at a standstill?
3. Do you believe the current situation is an acceptable or unacceptable situation?
4. What are your views about the issue of deskilling given these long delays hampering progress? Do you feel that deskilled doctors are a risk to patient safety? If yes, what do you propose to do to deal with it, if “no” - what is your evidence for it.
I hope to hear from you.
Best Wishes
Dr Rita Pal

Dear Sirs,
I refer to this article http://www.ibtl.in/column/1368/the-30-billion-dollar-medical-seats-scam . It summarises all the latest evidence on the “Medical Seat Scam”.
I cannot see any press statement, plan of action or your position on the matter. I would be grateful if you would kindly outline what action you plan on taking regarding this evidence.
It is clear that there are potentially unqualified/inexperienced individuals who obtained a medical place or career progression by paying for it. As you know, this becomes a patient safety issue and a potential threat to the public.
I hope you will kindly clarify your position on this matter.
Best Wishes,
