NEET-PG: Reviews from test-takers on Dec 4 Afternoon Session

Paper was ok,the fact is ,u need to read all the guide books including subject wise and also be thorough with your mbbs books.stcking to any one wont take u anywhere.

question was of good standard some very good biochem n anat question were there pharma was easy short subjects were also of high standard few data based question were also there.all in all paper was on tougher side

bouncer paper.... newaz jz read wtevr u want n go...average theek honge.. baki wr on d tougher syd...do maintain cool..

less repets compared to others.. roams would help

guys i gave xam on 4th evening.my view is that paper was very standard with only few repeats frm kalaam and rare frm mk aa .share ur views who gave exam today

guys how was 4th afternoon? felt it was a standard paper..not so tough but not easy either..close options and twists.. around 80 odd questions were easy..the rest we need to know the clear fact... guess the topper might score 190+.. share your views..

i too gave it today..felt a bit standard paper...guess the topper might get 190+..how much do u expect?[/quote] i m not sure..... did some silly mistakes and marked 4 to 5 questions wrong on review which i marked correctly before. though expecting around 150. how much do you expect?

Ya today xam was bit tough ....many lengthy questions ....

tough qs mixed with very easy qs...overall it was a tough paper...extensive reading required to belt the paper..

vry few repeats...lots of biochem physio ..mixture of some very easy questions with some very tough ones....

biochem n surgery rocked.......

i think its a mixed paper with very easy that anybody who has studied mbbs could answer and very tough that no one could answer.

questions from brain sucked

very tough paper more of clinical questions anat, biochem, medicine, gynae, surgery and psm max proportion.
cant answer many unless thorough with harrison and other standard text
a paper ideally suited for textbook readers though some 30-40 direct repaeats from subjectwise guides.
overall- 50 easy+ 100(close options needing thorough knowledge or lucky logic)+10-20 numericals(70%easy)+ 80(only wikipedia and emedicine may have the answers surely not all)
a perfect all india paper but when compared to other days scores will definitely be on much lower sides.

Neet PG is not Easy, there is no doubt in that you need to have indepth knowledge to get good rank. All the guides, MCQ books available in the market cannot get you good rank ,bcz none of the books are writing in depth of the imp topics.so the neet pg aspirants are depending on luck for atleast 60 to 80 Q which were directly taken from text book but pls remember they are from imp topics only.what these guides and mcq books are doing is they just revolving around MCQ which was asked previously and making us remeber it correctly during our exams.but once u are master in those previously asked mcqs u will be able to reach 130 to 140 mark out of 240,so that score will not take u any where near competition.I hope the authors will come up with new guides based on text books with key points of each chapter with indepth knowledge of imp topics with recent updates up to present day.Reading text book can built your concept but finally u need to rely on guides r notes prepared by u for imp points, only relying on textbooks will not take u any where ,bcz the sub is so vast u cannot just remember 18 textbooks.
Over all
Subject wise books 130 to 140 by max 150 Q(although if one studies subject wise books thoroughly if u get Q directly indirectly ,or Q framed around that MCQ out of 150 one will score around 130,as u know there is margin for human error).
From indepth knowledge of imp topics another 50 to 60 by max 70(if one dont study indepth need to rely on luck for these Q).
Other 10 to 20 Q are not from books they taken from internet.(Pure luck and some common sense for these Q)
In general the days are over by just reading previous MCQs and related material of that MCQ and cracking pg exam for general merit candidate unless the candidate has extradionary luck factor for those 70 Q newly framed.

I gave 4th dec pm ppr...it was average...few repeats...few que abt 4-5wer new to me..bt que wer basic..i thnk topper wil b abov 180...3-4 ques wer lengthy ..

120 direct q's from mcq subjectwise books...another 100 q's could be answered based on the knowledge itself... but it comes down to 2 options.., really tough in choosing bwn 2,, proportion s goin as 1 rgt n 1 wrng... 20 q's from net based oly... dunno if dey r frm harrison ,,, need some luck wid those questions,, not much numericals.. oly imp ones asked... standard paper overall..

It was a tough paper. for me like aipg'12 standard. the easy questions were so easy that all mbbs level students also know, so not the decider. and some were toally unheard of. I tried all mcq books before exam but hardly any repeats. neet requires 4-6 months of dedicated neet pattern studyin,no other way of cracking. and whats the sense of a fact based question having 2 identical options??? nbe is making a joke out of us and all the months of preparation !!
