All India Med PG Counselling put off

Following the uncertainity due to prolonged litigation over NEET the All India Medical Counselling which was scheduled to begin on 20th February has been postponed. The website of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has carried an announcement in this context today.

The NEET case will come up for next hearing in Supreme Court tomorrow i.e. 19th February. The case is being heared by the Chief Justice Bench. Most probably Tamil Nadu will begin their arguments tomorrow. Since MCI's request for releasing the NEET PG results was turned down by SC, the counselling schedule is in a dilemma.
